The first thing they wanted to eat when they got there was, of course, Pizza...the kind of pizza they were used to. They went from restaurant to restaurant in city after city without any luck. Finally in Naples they found what they were looking for - not exactly like the ones back home, but delicious and recognizably "Pizza". Amy's Margherita Pizza is based on the original Pizza Napoletana, and you'll find that it's truly unique. The hand-stretched crust is thinner than our usual crust; the simple sauce is made from organic tomatoes, and best of all is the topping - fresh mozzarella cheese sprinkled with Parmesan and basil. They all combine to create a light, fresh-tasting pizza that will delight you. After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987 we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health-conscious people too busy to cook. We use only the finest natural and organic ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home. No meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, eggs, or peanuts are ever used in any Amy's products.
